Job Description
Must have Qualifications

Passionate about inspiring children to have a love of science and robotics

Able to develop a great rapport with their students

Reliable and punctual. Our students LOVE our teachers and classes. We don’t want to disappoint them by missing a class or showing up late

Comfortable speaking to large groups

Reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check and LiveScan Fingerprinting is required upon hiring

Ability to lift and carry ~20-50 lbs on an occasional basis with or without accommodations

Lead groups of students in activities while implementing strong classroom management skills
• Available at least two afternoons per week (after 2pm)
Bonus Qualifications

Previous experience teaching Science or Robotics to Elementary school children (K-5) is preferred
Responsibilities
-
Travel to assigned schools in the Scripps Ranch, Mira Mesa, Clairemont, and Poway area to teach afterschool enrichment classes.

Foster a positive, fun, safe, and collaborative learning environment

Lead students in a variety of hands-on science experiments and demonstrations

Help students learn how to build, code, and control with a variety of robotics platforms

We provide everything you need to teach our classes, including class plans, supplies, and equipment
